National Information on Childcare status during COVID-19 2020

The Institute for Childhood Preparedness is committed to providing you with the latest information during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. We understand that these are challenging times and there is a considerable amount of conflicting information at this time. Our experts are committed to helping cut through the noise and provide you with the essential information you need as an early childhood professional.

Your health and safety is of the utmost importance to us. We continue to engage public health departments, licensing authorities and policy makers about the

latest scientific information on coronavirus. While many sectors are beginning to recognize that child care is essential - that does not mean that early childhood professionals should work without the highest levels of safety and protection. 

Our online Coronavirus course provides a plethora of information from pandemic and public health experts. 

States are now teaming up with local organizations to provide special services for child care providers

The state of Colorado has a public-private partnership called Keep the Lights on Fund which provides an initial bulk purchase of supplies, including gloves, bleach and paper towels, and is being made to support an estimated 1,200 child care providers.
