Meet Dr. Kelly Currie
Dr. Kelly Currie, MD, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Washington University Physicians. Dr. Currie specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery, including limb salvage surgery, as well as general reconstructive plastic surgery. Dr. Currie received her medical doctorate from the University of Buffalo where she graduated with research honors. She then completed her General Surgery residency at Mary Imogene Bassett Medical Center, her Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Colorado, and a Hand and Microsurgery fellowship at Southern Illinois University. Throughout her career, she has been honored with many awards, including membership to the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Her research interests include Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Medicine and Outcomes Research.
